The Old Thatch is located in the beautiful Dorset countryside between Ferndown and Wimborne. It is the quintessential, English country pub with its thatched roof, log fire and, as many of the locals will tell you, its very own ghost!

We pride ourselves on our great reputation for traditional, home-cooked, full flavoured food and, along with our themed nights and meal deal menus, we have something for everyones taste and appetite!

At lunchtimes, we offer menus that include both traditional, home-cooked meals and a selection of snacks and freshly made sandwiches. In the evenings you'll be tempted by a wide range of menu choices from juicy fillet steaks to homemade pies, from full flavoured curries to the great British favourite of fish and chips - not forgetting our specials boards and delicious desserts!!

To accompany your meal, we have a carefully chosen list of award winning wines and champagnes to compliment the food and to cater for everyones budget. We also have a good selection of lagers, beers and ciders for those of you perhaps popping in for just a drink and a very good selection of spirits.

The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and relaxed and dogs are welcome in the bar area - we always have a jar of dog treats on the bar and water is always available for our thirsty canine friends
